BIO:

Raised in a small town south of Detroit, Kraig found an interest in filmmaking early on. "Growing up the youngest in a big family handed down all kinds of movies and pop culture."  His interests developed and eventually led Kraig to enroll into his high school's Television & Radio Program. Soon after getting his diploma, Swisher packed his bags. The study of cinematography became his focus, and at Full Sail University he learned the craft of 35mm & 16mm motion-picture film. After graduating in 2008, Kraig joined the industry and never looked back.

Since entering the field, Kraig has served as Director of Photography on 9 feature films. Plus, a variety of commercials, music videos, live events and shorts. He has also built a career as a 1st AC, and has been a member of the IATSE Local 600 Camera Union since 2015.  Job experiences cast a wide range of productions... "From no-budget indies, to Hollywood shows shooting around the globe... I've worked in both worlds, and I try to take that knowledge and apply it to achieve whatever the Director envisions."
